Spaceload

Terms

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Spaceload, a Mac app made by Tom Jose in India. By installing or buying Spaceload you agree to them.

Trial

You can use Spaceload free for 14 days. After that, capturing and restoring workspaces needs a licence. Closing a workspace always keeps working.

Your licence

A licence lets one person use Spaceload on the number of Macs shown at purchase. It’s a one-time purchase, and includes all 1.x updates. You may not share, resell or publish your licence key. To move Spaceload to another Mac, deactivate it on the old one in Settings → Licence.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Polar, which acts as the seller and handles payment, invoices and tax. Polar’s terms also apply to your purchase. Refunds are described on our refund page.

What Spaceload does on your Mac

Spaceload opens and quits apps, opens browser tabs, folders and terminals, and connects and disconnects VPN profiles that you choose. When you close a workspace it asks that workspace’s apps to quit, and, if you allow it, answers their “Are you sure you want to quit?” dialogs. It never answers a dialog about unsaved work. Save your work before closing a workspace; you are responsible for the apps and data on your Mac.

No warranty

Spaceload is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don’t promise it will be free of errors or work with every app, browser or VPN.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or work, arising from your use of Spaceload. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
