Spaceload is a Mac app made by Tom Jose in India. This page explains what the app and this website collect. In short: your workspaces never leave your Mac.
On your Mac
The apps, tabs, folders, terminals, window positions and VPN names you save are stored only on your Mac, in ~/Library/Application Support/Spaceload. Spaceload has no account and no server that receives them. Its log in ~/Library/Logs/Spaceload also stays on your Mac.
What the app sends
- Licence checks. When you activate a licence, Spaceload sends your licence key and your Mac’s name (for example “Tom’s MacBook Pro”) to Polar, our payment provider, so you can see which Macs use your licence. About once a week it checks the licence is still valid. Nothing about your workspaces is sent.
- Update checks. Spaceload checks getspaceload.com for new versions. Like any web request, this shares your IP address and the app’s version. No other information about your Mac is sent.
- Diagnostics, only if you choose. Help → Copy Diagnostics copies a report you can email to us. It lists versions, settings and errors, never your workspace names, web addresses or files. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
Spaceload has no analytics, advertising or tracking.
Buying Spaceload
Purchases are handled by Polar, which acts as the seller and handles payment and tax. Polar collects your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can send your licence and help you. We never see your card details.
This website
This site uses no cookies or analytics. It is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep standard request logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent. These rights apply under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, if you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR. Email support@getspaceload.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. We keep order details for as long as tax law requires.
